I’m re-reading Wuthering Heights and honestly forgot how intense it is. Everyone is dramatic, miserable, obsessed, and somehow I still can’t stop reading.
It is definitely not a comforting kind of classic, but the atmosphere is amazing — all the moors, storms, bad decisions, and people being terrible to each other.
Has anyone else re-read it? Did you enjoy it more or less the second time?

I picked up Wuthering Heights again recently, but only made it a few pages in before putting it down. I think I need to be in the right headspace for it.
