I think gold is interesting because people often turn to it when everything feels uncertain. I don’t see it as something exciting or fast-growing, more like a quiet safety layer. Personally, I would be careful not to rush in just because everyone is talking about it, but I can understand why people want a small amount for balance.
I always get a bit cautious when something starts sounding too obvious. Gold can make sense as a small part of a portfoli, but I wouldn’t buy it just because it’s suddenly everywhere. By the time everyone is talking about saftey, some of that fear might already be priced in.
