🤖 How AI Works, Over-Simplified
Imagine reading the entire internet.
Not understanding it like a wise philosopher.
More like a highly caffeinated intern with perfect memory and no life experience.
Then someone asks:
“Write an email.”
The AI does not think, “What is truth? What is meaning? What is the human condition?”
It thinks:
“Based on everything I have seen, the next word is probably ‘Hi’.”
Then the next word.
Then the next word.
Then suddenly you have a very polite email saying:
“I hope this message finds you well.”
Which, statistically, it probably does.
So AI is not magic.
It is not conscious.
It is not your co-founder, Kyle.
It is a prediction machine trained on absurd amounts of text, very good at patterns, very bad at admitting when it is confidently making things up.
Basically:
Autocomplete went to university, read every group chat, became a consultant, and started charging by the token. 📈

AI is useful, but I think people either worship it too much or dismiss it too quickly. For me it is a tool, not a replacement for thinking. The danger is when we trust the answer just because it sounds confident.
AI is basically me pretending I know what I’m doing at work, but faster and with more confidence.
