My first Nokia felt indestructible. Battery lasted forever, Snake was serious entertainment, and dropping it on the floor was more dangerous for the floor than the phone.
Nokia phones felt like they were built by someone who assumed gravity was the main user experience.
My first phone was a small pink Nokia, and I still remember how exciting it felt. Such a simple little thing, but it honestly felt like it opened up the world. Somehow that was more exciting than getting the latest iPhone now, which feels a bit meh in comparison.
